Welcome to Release Day 1 Scripty Happy

Hello, my crafty friends!! Who's excited to see the September Release at The Rabbit Hole Designs I am loving this new release be sure to hop along with us to see all the amazing creations over the next 3 days

Today I have for you an alcohol ink background using one of the newest stencils to be released and the new word dies! That's right The Rabbit Hole Designs now have word dies!!

I used the Happy - Scripty Word with Shadow Layer Dies & Coordinating Happy Scripty 3x4 Stamp Set to make using the same ink colors from my background.  For the Happy die, I used a separated piece of Yupo paper and the stencil so I would get a more concentrated pattern, once I had the pattern I wanted I lifted the stencil and placed it on a fresh piece of Yupo to get a much cleaner look for the background.

Welcome to the Day 3 August Release!!

Hello my crafty friends I am so excited to share 2 of the just-released Stamp set and Stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs!

I try not to have favorites but this NEW Cat Eye 6x6 Stencil is definitely in my top 3! This is such a great multi-use stencil. The is the NEW All About the Hat 4x4 stamp set

So for the background, I wanted to keep it a little lighter so that this stamp would pop off the page. I stamped the All About the Hat first and cut a mask so that I would be able to lay that stencil right on top so I didn't have a ton of white areas around the stamp. I am definitely not a fussy cutter but this one was so easy to fussy cut a mask. The sentiment comes from the All About the Hat Stamp set. Keep an eye out for a post/video coming up showing how I used this stencil in multiple ways!

Happy Halloween! Welcome to Release Day 1!

Hello, my crafty friends! Who's ready for a little Halloween? Welcome to Day 1 of the August release at The Rabbit Hole Designs. I know I am and I have the perfect stamp to get you ready for the nice cool fall air.

This is the Halloween Wreath 4x4 Stamp Set designed by Tatsiana Zayats! For today's card, I decided to make an easel card. I love to throw in an interactive element.

I love all the fun characters that are intertwined within the wreath. I have to say I love making Halloween-inspired cards.

For the background I found some woodgrain card stock I have in my stash, but I felt it was a little plain so I pulled out my Black Soot Distress Ink to dirty it up just a bit. I did stamp my image on Bristol Smooth cardstock and used my zig clean color brush markers. For the easel part of the card I grabbed a sentiment from the set Things a Witch Might Say 4x6 stamp set, white heat embossed it on a piece of black cardstock that would fit the width of my card.

Hoppy Holidays!!! Welcome to Day 2 of the July Release

Hello, my crafty friends and Welcome to Day 2 of the July Release at The Rabbit Hole Designs!

Today I am sharing the Newest Hoppy Holidays 4x6 Stamp Set Illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats. My card today is a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 A2 top folding card. I love using this set for a quick and easy holiday card.
For my background, I used the newest distress oxide color Salvaged Patina. I wanted to keep it very clean. I did add a few drops of water for a little dimension.

I again kept my coloring very simple trying to pull out all the holiday colors with the reds, greens, and blues. I did stamp my image first and made a mask so that I could ink blend the background. After my panel was completely dry I did go back in and add glossy accents to the candy canes, the trimming on the tree, the star and the berries. For my sentiment, I heat embossed with a puffy embossing powder to give it that look of snow.

Christmoose in July! Welcome to Day 1 of the July Release

Hello, my crafty friends and Welcome to Day 1 of the Newest Release at The Rabbit Hole Designs

Who doesn't love Christmas in July! I love this new Christmoose-Moosemas Stamp and Coordinating Die set . Illustrated by Tatsiana Zayats My card today is a top folding 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 A2. I love how festive this super cute moose is. I knew I wanted the background of my card to have that snowy feel luckily I found a few sheets of patterned paper that already had that feel to it. I did paper piece his jacket using a green textured cardstock and added a few gems from my stash.

I did keep my coloring very simple for my moose using my favorite Zig combo. For the presents and ornaments I pulled out Starry Colors paletteusing the golds and silvers to fill them in. After everything was dry I did go in with my glossy accents to add a little bit of dimension. For my sentiment I heat embossed on heavy weight vellum with gold embossing powder and wrapped the vellum around the card to hide any adhesive.

Welcome to Release Day 3 at The Rabbit Hole Designs

Hello, my crafty friends! Today is Release Day 3 at The Rabbit Hole Designs. Here is the latest Caffeinated Critter! Caffeinated Meerkat Stamp Set and Coordinating Die

How cute is this set! I knew I wanted to give him a scene, I grabbed a few of my favorite hilly die cuts and I found this awesome textured paper in my stash (wish I would have found it sooner) and cut 2 hills to give a bit of dimension, along with the hills I wanted to add just a bit of green so it wasn't so monotone.

For the coloring, I pulled out my Ohuhu alcohol markers in the shades E210, E220, YR209, and Y9 as my darkest shade, and I am so in love with how this Caffeinated Meerkat with the Coordinating Die came together. I also grabbed a few of my favorite distress oxides for the sky. Kitsch Flamingo, scattered straw with a hint of dried marigold.

Welcome to Release Day 2

Hello, my crafty friends! Welcome to Release Day 2 at The Rabbit Hole Designs. Let me introduce you to one of the newest caffeinated Critters! Meet the Caffeinated Chameleon

I paired the Caffeinated Chameleon and coordinating die with a newly released Amanda 6x6 Stencil. I just knew I need to make a shaker for this sleepy guy! I used my zig real brush markers in a few different shades of green just so he would match the background. To make the shaker I used the NEW Double Thick Crystal Clear Foam Tape It is the perfect thickness for any shaker, light up, interactive cards you want to make.

I wanted to use a couple distress oxides to blend the leaves since Chameleons like to change into their background, so I pulled out Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron (2 of my favorite colors). I decided to keep the frame a nice solid green. I also added a few of my favorite green shaker bits, just so everything wasn't totally matching.

Here is the side so you can see just how clear and thick this tape is!
